Inside Advanced Manufacturing

QMI partnered with the Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing, and Water (DRDMW) to deliver an extraordinary week-long series of industry tours. Collaborating with regional Manufacturing Hubs, we provided students with a unique opportunity to explore the diverse world of advanced manufacturing.

This year's program went beyond traditional industry tours by incorporating university visits. This approach allowed students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the educational pathways and career opportunities available within the manufacturing sector.

Around 200 students from 16 schools across Queensland participated in the program, gaining firsthand exposure to manufacturing technologies and processes.
