QMI hosts of the Gateway to Industry Schools Program for Advanced Manufacturing (GISP-AM). We are proud to partner with Inspired Education Australia (IEA) and Queensland schools to bring you this innovative industry 4.0 masterclass for STEAM teachers.
Design Thinking is an approach to learning that focuses on developing teachers’ and students’ creative confidence, and facilitate a proven formula for innovation. It has also been recognised as a key 21st century skill for our advancing manufacturing and engineering industry in Queensland.
We’re offering a one day, teacher professional development workshop for high school teachers on sketching and additive manufacturing (3D printing/Lo-fi Prototyping), centred around Design Thinking, delivering suitable teaching strategies for the classroom.
This full-day workshop will be catered and offers an all inclusive session and practical, hands-on experiences.
